Is it hard to sign up?

What payment methods do you accept?

What does “unlimited” bandwidth actually mean?
Unlimited domestic data transfer — that is the volume you move, not the speed you move it at, which is the network speed listed on every plan. Unlimited applies to normal use under our Fair Use Policy. Crypto mining and sustained maximum CPU or disk I/O are not allowed, because they degrade service for everyone else on the host. If we detect abnormal usage we may throttle or suspend the instance, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Do I get root or Administrator access?
Yes. You get full root on Linux or Administrator on Windows, so you can install software and configure the system however you like. The Web Console is always available, even if you lock yourself out.
Can I upgrade specs without reinstalling? Does my data survive?
Yes to both. Adding CPU, RAM, or Storage is done from the control panel and only needs a reboot, with your data left exactly where it is. Changing or reinstalling the OS is a separate action that does wipe everything, so back up first.
Do you offer an uptime guarantee?
We guarantee 99.9% uptime. If downtime exceeds our limit, we credit you according to our SLA.
Which CPU instruction sets do I get — AVX-512, AVX2, AES-NI?
It depends on the OS. Linux guests get the host CPU passed through: AVX-512 (F, DQ, CD, BW, VL) including AVX-512 VNNI, plus AVX2, AVX, AES-NI and SSE4.2. Windows guests run on the x86-64-v3 baseline — AVX2, AVX, FMA, BMI1/BMI2 and SSE4.2, without AVX-512. Either way you get AVX, which is what MongoDB 5.0 and later require to start. If you need AVX-512 or VNNI, for example for local LLM inference, pick a Linux plan. Confirm on a running server with lscpu on Linux, or Sysinternals coreinfo on Windows.
Is a Windows Server licence included?
No. Windows plans cost the same as Linux plans precisely because the Windows Server licence is not included — you bring your own (BYOL). We do not supply or run evaluation copies. Linux plans need no licence at all. Compare our price against providers that bundle a licence with that difference in mind.
